When Should You Wear Gold Shoes
While some women believe that gold dress shoes are a must-have in their closets, others find it so hard to figure out how to use them, or what to use them with. Their gold dress shoes ends up stuck in their closets, and forgotten forever. Others choose not to buy one at all, coz they don’t know how to wear them right or when to even wear them.
One doesn’t really have to possess the best fashion sense to wear gold dress shoes. Gold is very neutral. It could go with almost about anything and any occasion. And who says gold shoes is just for evening use? It can be a perfect daytime wear without having to look flashy at all.
If you’re working, gold dress shoes can pair well with a multitude of colors of office suits. Think about pairing it with white, purple, pink, yellow, blue or some shades of orange — the result would be fabulous and stylish yet still appropriate for the office environment. Personally I believe a brown-colored or nude suit would best work with gold shoes.
Need to go to a prom or a party? Needless to say, gold would go along really fine with just about anything you put on. Gold works really best with cocktail dresses, evening gowns and even one-shouldered dresses. You can complete the look with gold or neutral accessories like drop earrings and an evening clutch. If you wanna go bold and a little more daring, go for the “little black dress” and gold shoes. It is always thought to be the perfect thing to wear in parties and proms.
Gold shoes look lovely with wedding dresses. The best color picks for wedding dresses that goes best with gold are cream, ivory and seashell. Definitely it looks perfect with white too. When it comes to wedding dresses though, one has to be careful in choosing the shade of gold. Do away with too much yellow and go with the softer shades of gold. It would make any bride look glamorous as she walks the aisle.
Like I said, it is perfectly okay to wear gold during the day. Match pale or matte gold dress shoes with trendy chic skirts, black or brown pants, or even denims. Add on neutral accessories, and you are sure to make an impression. If you want a sexier look, you might even wanna go for a higher heel.
You see, gold dress shoes are best for weddings, proms, and parties. But if you ask me when is really the best time to wear it, it’s actually everyday.
